• Mum's Grade III class at the Francis Street School in 1946. The teacher of 50 pupils is Miss Green, surely a woman of great forbearance! Mummy is second from the left in the second row and the prettiest girl in the class. In August 2020, we asked Mum to name them. She didn't recognise many (including her BFF Wendy) except for the fifth boy in the front row (l-r) called Freddie Woodward and the following: (?) Ferguson (top row, second from left); Glenda Pierce/Pearce (to mum's right). The tenth girl on the second row with a large white hair bow is Jean Dunsmore. The second girl in the third row with a chubby freckled face is Barbara Harper and next to her is Pat Patterson (smirking), and two down from her is (Milly-Molly-Mandy-look-alike) Delis (sp?) King. Two down from her (with white bow) is Joy Hughes.
